May 29th - June 1st 2014, W111 Vintage Car Meeting ...
With our new "baby" we attended a three-day vintage car meeting of just that type of Cabriolet, the Mercedes W111
First night most of the cars were in a tight garage ... quite some value in there ...
First tour day - unfortunately rain - we got prepared for the tour. Wonderful roads in the South of Germany and also Austria ...
... where we had a stop for lunch (Tirol) ... here 16 of 17 cars lined up ...
... on mountain roads, still in the rain, but nevertheless beautiful ...
Here we had a stop at the castle of Neuschwanstein (background left) ...
... same here, two castles in the background ...
Warming up @ the coffee break ... it was really freezing cold!
Again wonderful tours through the countryside ...
After a recommendation of our client, we went to Ida Davidsen, the best (?) smorebrod in town ... here the buffet where you ordered it ... it's basically a slice of bread covered with e. g. fish ... ... and it has to be covered in a way that you don't see the bread anymore!

Finally at the "Oberjoch" pass 14 cars were lined up ... enjoy!
... models from 1962 to 1971 ...
Great people there and hopefully another one will be organised next year!
