Next we arrived in Agatti, Lakkadives Islands, on 14. April ...
On our way, after leaving Cochin, we had to test our new bought shirts at dinner ... ok, have a laugh at Thomas' shirt ...
After releasing the tender boats from the ship, we entered one of the first ones and took the twenty minute trip to the island ... the captain had to manoeuver in between the corals ...
Finally we arrived, just to find out, that neither the beach (just plastic chairs to sit), nor the water (no fish or corals) were to our liking. Huge amounts of sand flies let us take the next boat back to the ship ... just to find an empty pool, which we enjoyed then.
This can neither be compared to the Great Barrier Reef, nor to Fiji ... sorry ... but we look forward to Mumbai ...
