July 7-14th, 2011, David visiting...

For one week we had our Aussie friend David over ... he spends a couple of months in the UK and took the long flight from London to Frankfurt ;-)

Bild in Lightbox öffnen (open image in lightbox). Next day we took David to the other side of the Rhine valley, the Weinstrasse (wine street) ... here overlooking it (the mountains visible at the horizon is where we live).

Bild in Lightbox öffnen (open image in lightbox). The big day tour of Monday took us first to Trier, the oldest city of Germany ... here the "porta negra", dated back 2.000 years ...

Well, it was great to have you hear, David and a safe trip back home!
