Singapore for two days ...
We flew from Melbourne to Singapore and stayed there for two days before going on the ship ...
First night, we arrived at the Raffles Hotel, which is absolutely marvellous ...
... the suites were stunning and just fantastic!
First night, after check-in, we had a walk down to boat quay with all the restaurants ... here a photo of the other side ...

... coming home, we went to the "Long Bar" at Raffles, where the "Singapore Sling" has been invented ... we had one and listened to the great live band there ...
Next morning we had a guided city tour, that took us to the brand new ferris wheel (highest in the world with 165m), where we had a great look over Singpore ...
... we had a lot of stress to kill time at the swimming pool at Raffles Hotel ...
..... it seems that our reputation preceded us and as one can see, the Bar stocked up accordingly ..... unfortunately it took us a day to work our way through the bottles ...
